Experimental Evaluation of Techniques to Lower Spectrum Consumption in Wi-Red

Cite as: G. Cena, S. Scanzio and A. Valenzano, “Experimental Evaluation of Techniques to Lower Spectrum Consumption in Wi-Red,” in IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, vol. 18, no. 2, pp. 824-837, Feb. 2019. doi: 10.1109/TWC.2018.2884914

Description: Seamless redundancy allows to decrease latency and increase reliability in Wi-Fi networks, but bandwidth consumption is twice (for double redundancy). In this paper, techniques aimed at reducing bandwidth consumption, without impacting sensibly on latency, were analyzed.
