  • Replace everything that is not the letter l with the letter X

''uniq'' command

(the egrep command behaves as grep -E, i.e., it makes use of extended-regex ERE)

> egrep -e "^[2468]\>" -e "^[1-9][0-9]*[02468]\>" example.txt
